I'm looking at the courses now and these sound pretty cool:

-The Science of Baking

-Inventing Language

-Radical Cinema in Latin America (I had this prof last year and he was awesome)

-Infant cognition- How baby's brains make sense of the world around them

-Psychology of love, attraction and attachment

-I have my public health degree, so now what??? (LOL)

-STI's--An exercise in public health

cool!!

Dominique I was thinking of taking that Latin American Cinema class too!  I was also thinking about taking Italian - apparently Hopkins offers French Elements and Italian Elements over intersession, which is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to pick up a language but doesn't have enough room in their schedule.

Last year, I came back for the last week of Intersession. This year, I decided to stay the whole time. I took two classes, Science of Baking and Inventing Language, and I spent lots of time working on Mock Trial and getting ready for the spring season. You can read more about that in my blog here.

Over Intersession this year I took a course called Perspectives on the History and Culture of Spain... in Madrid!!

I had the most amazing time ever, and wrote about it in my blog, which you can read here: http://blogs.hopkins-interactive.com/2014/2011/01/mad-about-madrid/

I LOVE INTERSESSION. Last year I took Foreign Gene Expression, and this year I'm taking Biology of Neurodegenerative Diseases. I'm nearly certain that the experience and lab techniques I gained from FGEL are the reason that I got the research position that I've held for a year now (my research is in neurodegeration, hence this year's intersession class). It's a great time to come back and take a one or two credit class that you would never be able to take otherwise. Also, Intersession is a lot of fun outside of class. There is a party pretty much every single night, and since you have class about 3-4 hours a week, it wont throw you off to go out and have fun on the reg.
