Grad student cubicles on B level of the library. They're huge, you can spread out, and they're like little jail cells for when you're being incredibly unproductive on M level (every day). You can go in there and be done with a paper in like an hour because there's just nothing else to do. You just have to watch out for whichever grad student is actually supposed to use them at the time. Whoops!

My new favorite addition to the library is the quiet reading room.  In the mornings, it is light, bright, and very, very quiet!  It has become my habitual study space every Tuesday and Thursday.

I actually started studying at Starbucks this semester, and I actually get a lot of work done. It's also a nice break from the stuffy lower levels of the library.

I have a lot of different study spots for different moods/things to do.  I confess that for the first month of the year I studied solely on B level in the exact same spot for everything, (it was directly in front of the complete works of Booker T. Washington.....don't ask me how I remember that) then I gradually began to prefer A-level (any cubicle.  I don't like the big open tables they have because I'll probably just talk to people and get nothing done).  I can't focus in the Hut because it's too comfy and gorgeous.  Most of my studying now takes place either in my room (I extended my ethernet cable so I can sit on my bed and do stuff, and it's much better than the wifi I can get around campus) or while I'm working out at the gym (you have like 30-45 min of time to read stuff, and it's where I do most of my vocab studying for Arabic.)  I confess that an excellent study spot is in videographer office on the third floor of Mason while you're waiting for videos to compress/render/convert/etc.  That can take a while.

Gilman is my favorite when I want to study indoors. However, when it is a nice day, I like to go to Wyman park to the West of campus and sit by the stream that runs through it and study. I find the water sounds help me concentrate and relax simultaneously.
