Admissions: Transfer essays
« on: March 12, 2011, 10:56 PM »
Hi,

I am submitting my common application as a transfer student.
I have a question about word limit for transfer supplementary essay.
Supplementary essays for freshman applicants were limited under 250 words.
But, it does not say anything about word limit for transfer supplementary essay?
Any guideline? 250-500 words work? or if it's more than 250 words, it it too much for transfer supplementary essay??

Please let me know ASAP.
Thank you.

There is no official word limits or word count suggestions for transfer application essays. Traditionally essays range between 500 - 750 words, but one's essay can be as short (or as long) as you want.
